I would pass. I like Miller but that’s way to much to give for me

If I took out Prokop and added something going to Nashville would that work?

Not for me. Prokop is the least significant piece coming from NSH - he's hardly a deal breaker. I just don't like Miller enough to part with the 1st and L'Heureux (and I don't really want Hamonic at all). I get that you're offering max retention, but the Preds have a better cap situation than any of the playoff teams. Retention isn't as important for them as it would be for others.

Fair enough but even without retention at the bare minimum Miller's gonna cost a 1st and a top prospect. He's a center, got multiple years left, and is top 10 in scoring.

The nucks will probably get that for Miller but I just don’t think that team will be Nashville. What Nashville is doing is a pleasant surprise but I hope poile stays the course. Plus I don’t think he would be willing to trade a guy he traded up in the draft to take. Miller would absolutely help this team but I think the price will be higher than poile wants to go

I don't think it's an unfair ask for what you're offering, but like @GeauxPreds1 says it's not a price NSH should be paying right now. For a contender with more of a need to go for it now instead of team in transition like NSH, with less cap flexibility, in need of a center (if NSH got Miller they'd likely use him at wing), who has more use for Hamonic, it wouldn't be unreasonable at all.

Ask is likely fair. He’d be a wing in Nashville as Granlund and Joey are best used at center and we just got them going like they should this year. Honestly Nashville should just ride what we got going and not spend any assets this trade deadline. What we’ve done is a great surprise… I figured we’d be bottom 10 in the league. Save our futures and continue the path we are taking as it seems to be paying off

All good points, I guess I overestimated how willing the Preds would be in going for it. Do you think they would still be willing to move Myers and what would the price be?

NSH doesn't really have any reason to move Myers, barring a significant overpay. That doesn't seem likely right now, as keeping Myers out of the lineup for so long likely hasn't helped his trade value.
