I love Siegs but no way in hell am I ever spending a 1st on him. MAYBE a super late 2nd.

Devils wouldn't do that though. He was traded for an early 3rd last year and has played very very good. He's worth more

He has the best defensive stats in the league.

Again, I love Siegs, but no way in hell lol If you are spending a 1st you can get a player good defensively AND offensively.

His timing is impeccable.
The devils broadcast often shows a stat about denying zone entries and he has lead the league all year.

(also, the timing of breaking out in his first full year in NJ is pretty cool too).

That’s what happens when we trade someone. Examples Stephenson, vrana, bura, gurby, and Jonas. 😔
