COL passes don’t need another really small dman, the rest of the package doesn’t move the needle at all.

I doubt Buffalo trades Olofsson and doubt Colorado makes that deal

i could see BUF signing a guy like kadri to a 7M deal for one year to get over the cap floor, similar to what they did with hall

Easy no from the Avs. Not trading a young decent RHD prospect for bit parts.

Can't really afford Olofsson in 2022-23. No deal.

Brett Murray makes this team easily over ruotsalainen. I think it's 50/50 we even offer ruotsalanein his QO

You are 8-9 million under the cap floor.

No way Colorado does that

They weren't under when they signed hall. They were over 70 if I remember right. They had an internal cap the owners chose to blow past when hall agreed to come here. I think that as of now though, they are drawing about 5k per home game, and I think they are tired of scratching checks from their own account to finish in 28th place. I'm expecting to be closer to the floor unless a short term cap dump for a first is on the table. I think you could sell them on high value futures, but I don't see any big free agent splashes, and frankly, who is coming here? We are probably paying at least 25% above the next highest offer, and still I bet they decline.

and why would kadri do that? Hes going to be 32 at the start of next season, hes going to want to sign with the team that gives him the best chance to win and pay him fairly. Hes not pulling a 1 year cash in deal, not hitting the same sort of production he has in Colorado to sign for much less the following season somewhere else
