Just to keep it simple, that trade proposal doesn't move the needle on Connor alone. I think you're severely undervaluing Connor in this trade. I can't even offer an counter as I'm unsure what Montreal has that would be of interest to the Jets if they ever decided to move Connor.

Just one question... Why???? Kyle Connor is an elite scorer on a fairly good team friendly deal.. While in the think of a playoff run(likely going to the playoffs) with what's' been the deepest roster since the 2018 run, you want to trade the Jets BEST scorer for a d prospect, and 2nd/3rd pairing right handed d man with another not as well known prospect and and couple picks.. This makes 0 sense for the Jets to do.. The only moves they would really be looking to do to help improve the team, third pairing d man better than Stanley(it wouldn't be hard to find) and possibly a backup goalie-but Comrie has been solid and is making league min... MAYBE a middle 6 forward to push Copp on the 3rd line permanently where he is best...

I am new so I don't know much about player value, As far as I know I think this edit was way worse than the original, but I am trying my best

All g, it's why I generally refrain from using terms like dumb or stupid, there's no need for that, but, I do like people to think a bit harder about how teams via players, not how fans view players.. The hardest thing to do in the NHL is score goals, and when you have a guy like Kyle Conner- that can do it 30-40 times a season, on a very nice deal, he tends to carry a higher value for teams than say a David Savard who would be interchangeable at 2nd/3rd pairing d on the right side(which the Jets already have enough of w/Pionk/Schmidt/Demelo).. That's all..

Hey man no worries at all! Hope my feedback didn't come off as too negative or anything. Interesting counter offer you proposed with the Blues, value is certainly there but I think both teams would have a hard time moving one of Connor or O'Reilly as they are both huge parts of their respective clubs.

No chance from Winnipeg. The first is nice, but a little over a year of O'Reilly, a 34 year old rental, an LD prospect Winnipeg has no use for and a 2nd doesn't get you a young 30 goal scorer on a team friendly contract.

If they do, they wouldn't use him and a first to get another winger. But in this context, they definitely wouldn't
