Coyotes won’t, CBJ could but they’re too inconsistent and the team is pretty young so they won’t ( it’s also wayyy too early to guess lol ), Ottawa won’t until the D/Goaltending is fixed, MTL could ( really depends on the direction Gorton picks ), Sabres won’t, Seattle won’t, Chicago won’t, Philly might, depends what they do but they have a decent core, same with NYI and NJ.

Montréal has 0 chance of making the playoffs this year. If they won every single game for the rest of the year they’d end up with 96 points, which still might not be enough to make the playoffs.

Yup, he’s one of the most credible ones out there.

Also this says a lot of Klingberg’s character, should get the A stripped off of his jersey right away. Doesn’t feel appreciated when he’s getting number 1 PP time and being on the first pairing over Heiskanen who is one of the best dman in the league. Gurianov for pretty much all his career played less minutes then ECHL bum Blake Comeau, and Oettinger went down to the AHL this year when he’s been out best goalie 2 years in a row. Both of whom have never complained once, and now that Klingberg doesn’t get the overpay of a contract that he wants, he cries about it? Not here buckaroo.

Assistants should be Seguin, Pavelski, Lindell and Heiskanen. Trade Klingberg to the first team that has an overpay offer for him. After that get a good puck moving RHD (@SevenLeg and @Db1899 could you guys give me a list of the best puck moving RHD, you both seem to know places where you can get that sort of information).

Also Jim Nill is also to blame here, he’s literally the least active GM there has ever been, George Washington has done more moves than him in the past decade, George has been dead for quite a while now.

We already have an off-topic discussion thread in the box so no need for another (yet). This one should technically be in the NHL Forum. Really makes no difference at all to me where it is, but maybe it should be moved so people looking for a thread like this find it where it's supposed to be. Don't know if a mod could just move this thread or if we'd have to start a new one.
