Bobcat’s Post Game Notes, Game 35
Jackets win 6-0 over the Carolina Hurricanes.
-Didn’t have much to say about the lines. Things looked really good.
-Emil Bemstrom made himself visible to the public for once! He scored his first goal (and point) this year tonight with a nice shot.
-Elvis was absolutely LIGHTS OUT in the crease tonight, and he 100% deserved this shutout. He checked more than a few people into the Heartbreak Hotel.
-Yegor had a particularly strong game. His first multi-goal game! I am very happy.
-This game was oddly very physical and personal. Dean Kukan and Andrei Svechnikov in particular were going at it all night long. Robbie and Svechnikov both got penalties after the first period was over, and Tony DeAngelo couldn’t keep his mouth shut about something and got thrown out. Lol.
-This went from exciting, to funny, to sad. By the end, we were just humiliating some college kid making his debut. That’s not fun.
-All I can say about the Canes as a team is that you can definitely tell that they haven’t played a game in a week. I really expected them to kick the sh*t out of us since they’re Cup contenders and all, but it was rather surprising.
