Description

Feels dirty moving Perron but with his contract expiring and how much fire power we have up front, moving him to create some cap space for a Chychrun trade makes sense. Kostin & Kravstov get a new look (he should fit on 3rd line well and has alot of potential) and we pick up a VERY solid D prospect. In the 2nd trade with Arizona, maybe an overpay? we could just keep Scandella and run with a 22 man roster but with Mikkola, Chychrun and Krug as our LD it might make sense to get them to take Scandellas contract. All said and done, we still maintain a very good, probably better group of 25 and under. Kyrou, Thomas, Chychrun, Brown, Kravstov, Neighbours, Schneider, Mikkola, Simon Robertsson etc.

First of all, we're not trading Frenchy. So that ends that right there. As for the Chych trade, take out Bolduc and I'd do it. Don;t know if Arizona would, but there's only so much young talent capital we can ship out. From my view anyway.

1- I'd imagine so, yeah.

2- Umm... change Hofer to Ellis, and sure we'll toss Dickinson in there.

but then Arizona declines easily. IMO I would risk losing Bolduc to get Chychrun. This seems like a good package to me, however Scandella will not waive to go to Arizona. I agree Perron resigns but hopefully to a similar cap space as he is now 4.5 ish. I would image that Tarasenko is moved this offseason and could recoup some of that lose in this package

I would image that Tarasenko is moved this offseason and could recoup some of that lose in this package

1- Yeah, that may be.

2- It's not Bolduc I want to keep necessarily, but three ace prospects along with the 1st is too rich for my blood and the other two pieces would be more expendable - Perunovich because Chych is coming over and we have quite a few good young goalies.

3- One would assume, yeah.

4- Ya know, I'm actually starting to wonder if that's so. He's having fun in the group and playing maybe his best hockey ever.

Overpayment for Chychrun. Blues should not trade Hofer. Remove him and I'll do it.
