I think my eyes are starting to hurt from so many Klingberg to Toronto posts on here. Regardless of the value in this situation, Klingberg isn't needed and won't fit in Toronto. He's the exact same type of player that they had in Tyson Barrie and look how that worked out. Klingberg's an offensive minded defenceman with limited defensive ability and he wouldn't even be used right for his ability in Toronto. He wouldn't see any PP time (Rielly has the 1st unit locked down and they're contingent on developing Sandin on the 2nd unit, could even put Liljegren there if needed or Muzzin), wouldn't play any PK time, and he'd play 5v5 with Muzzin as a shutdown unit which he isn't good at shutting guys down.
Honestly, even at half retained with very little going back, it just doesn't make sense for Toronto.
