I genuinely believe that Kane's contract coming off the books could speed up the Sharks' rebuild by a year or two, pretty pumped for this.

I mean he repeatedly broke the terms of his contract. I cant see any legal counsellor agreeing to take this case, theres no way hed win

NHLPA will fight it tooth and claw, as they will any termination of a guaranteed contract regardless of the reasons for termination.
Kane did himself zero favours, but I wouldn't be surprised if he still got a settlement.

You can’t see a lawyer taking this case? Are you serious? I once had a guy try to sue me for a car accident where we never made contact. Lawyers will take any case.

It took this long for them to terminate the contract because they know they’re on sketchy ground.

I think the PA will litigate but wont win. Is there maybe some criminal exposure for Kane in Canada for crossing the border as covid positive? i'm sure he has to make an immigration statement that he did not have covid to enter canada. Making an illegal declaration at immigration I am sure is a crime.

Yep and your PA predection is true, Bill Daly stated he supports the desicion the Sharks made I dont think Kane will win, fingers crossed
