Yea I like a one year, prove it signing for Kane. At this point with the bruins aging core id take the risk. hell of a player and kind of what the bruins need right now as far as tougher guy. Pick him up and a top 4 D at the deadline and it could be a cup contending team.

I have always said in the past that Kane would be an easy 30 goal scorer when he signed his extension with the Sharks and he has been on a 30+ goal-scoring rate since he signed there. I was content with the Bruins potentially trading for him at 50% retained but now that we have the ability to sign him for next to nothing, he makes our offensive firepower stronger. And like previously mentioned, if he doesn't work out then you just send him down or place him on the taxi squad. With the leadership we have here I'm sure that someone would be able to keep an eye on him at all times.
