What for Chycyrun and Crouse

Created by: boston617

Description
Saw Jeff Marek briefly link the Bruins to Lawson Crouse, So with the rumors of Chychrun out there as well, what would it take for the Bruins to get both?

I don't know how realistic it would be, but have to think for starters at least a 1st round pick, Jake DeBrusk, Mason Lohrei, and then more would have to be involved.

I could be wrong, what do you guys think?

He outlined the Chychrun ask on HNIC. A good young player, a high-end prospect and a 1st round pick

1st round pick, Jake DeBrusk, Mason Lohrei wont get it done as teams will outbid that package to meet the requirements mentioned by Marek. DeBrusk isnt really a young player anymore, he will be 26 at the start of next season and is close to being a UFA. for a rebuilding team like the Yotes, DeBrusk doesnt really make sense

Let’s say Debrusk for Crouse and then at least 1st, good prospect + another good piece for Chychrun

You are right. Boston has the 1st and a top prospect in Lysell but that's it. One, they really don't have a good young player to give up and two, if they trade a 1st and Lysell they won't have any good young players for years to come. No deal for both these reasons.

First Round Pick, A Young Player, and a High-End Prospect. So i would have to think the first round pick obviously, DeBrusk, and the Yotes take their pick of either Lysell, Studnicka, or Lohrei.

According to CF Yotes have a 7 guys signed. DeBrusk and his $4.4 million QO would help ARZ getting to the cap floor. They can also put him in a top 6 role and give him a chance to re-gain his 20+ goal form. If he does they can retain 50% and get a nice return at next year TDL.

Lohrei makes the most sense seeing has he's a LHD like Chychrun and is more than likely turning pro after his season as OSU ends.

Coyotes can take on bad contracts for other teams for assets, getting to the cap floor wont be an issue for them.
Debrusk isnt the good young player that Marek said is the ask.

He's also not a bad contract. I think to ARZ there is value in DeBrusk. Your more than welcome to disagree, but guys with 20+ goal potential don't grow on trees and DeBrusk just recently turned 25yr old, so he's still young.

You include Grzelyk. He’s no longer need with Chychrun on the Bs. You add in Senyshyn as wel.

That sweetens the pot quite significantly and you don’t give them Lysell or Lohrei. Seny 2 Hattie’s in November, is about ready to produce and has stayed healthy.

I’d sweeten with an extra pick (2nd/3rd) from 2023 and try to keep the known entities we have. As others have mentioned, the cupboards are bare.

Gives both teams replacement options. Bs are further along but Arzs have potentially great upside. Grze has played 1LD. DeBrusk has scored 27G before in the NHL.. Senyshyn (if you do some research) was a PPG at the NHL until he got injured a few years back now.

ARZ is building and one of DeBrusk or Senyshyn will go off, and you have an NHL D replacement and some picks to go with the 100 they have next season.
