I don't see why Vegas would want to keep a league min depth player that has been leaned heavily upon this season.

Would be a stupid move from VGK. They're all in and need all to keep all their cheap and good assets for their run. Roy should be close to untouchable in this regard.

I could see Vegas doing something in the offseason because he's Arb eligible and Vegas is in a tight cap spot, but not this year. They want to win the cup. No reason to lose a valuable piece.

Doubt Vegas moves him while he’s on a league min deal. Maybe if they can’t finagle their way around the cap or find someone willing to give up assets to take a contract, we could offer to take on a contract in exchange for also getting Roy (like we take Smith and get Roy, give up like a 2nd and Gawdin or something so they get value back and don’t look like they’re just giving away a guy, or paying to dump a decent player that isn’t even overpaid).
