Leafs deal looks right. Overvaluing JVR. Undervaluing Braun though, I think he nets PHI a 2nd rounder with his play this year.

Don't see the Leafs trading 3 players currently on their roster for 1 guy. It will make 1 line better while 2 others and a d pairing worse. To put it into perspective...Giroux would need to bring twice the impact in that 20 minutes a game he will play than the current impact of Mikheyev, Engvall and Liljegren bring. It just doesn't make sense for a team headed to the playoffs which is why we see futures traded rather than lineup players.

Leafs don't need that much help at forward. Liljegren seems like a long term cost efficient RHD....and he's just one of seven Dmen the Leafs have. Leafs could be interested in Braun though.
