Chychrun would be perfect in FLA, but I just have no clue how they will work within the cap next season if they do deal for him. The Verhaeghe + Barkov extensions kick in and there are a lot of roster spots to fill -- also can't see a team taking the Hornqvist deal without a sizeable incentive.

Would Hornqvist waive for ARI though? And what other team would/could take on his $5m+ cap hit that he would be willing waive for? I don't think it will be that easy to move him.

Tbh I feel like that is a weak offer. Tippett hasn't been great, dame with kierstad, and Hornqv sucks.

I probably ask for Lundell. If he's off limits I probably walk from Florida, but could be bribed back with something like Denisenko + Forsling + 1st + 2nd

You would get good value off him and florida has good young wingers coming up and you safe cap space.
