I’d jump on the CBJ deal.
CBJ’s opinion could be a bit different.
(If Abruzzese make the US olympic team, the story could be different)

That’s an overpayment for Brassard.

Probably not enticing enough for the jackets to pull the trigger right now. He’s our only top 4 defenseman who is above average at defending and plays key minutes against top opponents. Value wise your close but I don’t think jarmo trades him just based on his importance to the team structure
