I'm not sure DET is quite ready to give up on Zadina yet, certainly not for that underwhelming package. You would have to add.

Brännström with a broken hand is better than Gaudette and Mete.

If Detroit is unwilling to trade Brännström and a 3rd for Zadina. Why would they trade a 1st for Brännström and a 6th round pick from 2020 draft who I've been unable to find on a list of Ottawa's top prospects?
