Description

We need to accumulate interesting picks for the nexts drafts. Let’s start strong . The year is lost anyway

Chariot (UFA, high value)
Kulak (serviceable 5-6th defenseman, UFA)
Lehkonen (high motor 3rd line player, always 100%, great at defense and pk) RFA . I find he has good value but we have a lot of guys with the same style (evans, Byron, Gallagher) . Lehkonen is the one to go because we need centres (evans), and Byron/ Gallagher are not tradable now.
Toffoli (we need to start the rebuild strong and we need cap space. Toffoli is one of our rare guy with term that is worth something significant)

Paquette (6th) and Perreault (5th) are traded to any team for late picks.

Only trade that I don't like is the Chiarot trade. I think he gets a late 1st and 5th at best, but the 2nd seems like a bit much. Depends on the conditions, however.

Y’a it might be a bit much. But I took for granted that it would be a very late 1st, and the condition could be for example the oilers to reach the association final , or it’s a 3rd instead

Toffoli is an excellent player on an amazing contract. Good scorer with term? That nets you quite the return
