E. Kane doesn't sign in Edmonton. He ends up in Vegas which explains why the Knights waived Elvenes for the SPC spot when they did. Vegas will pull some sort of cap shenanigans or make a trade later on to make it all work when everyone is healthy. Kane happily moves into a casino

Im not sure what Vegas can do when Eichel and Martinez are off of LTIR. You're looking at being 15 million over the cap.

It'll be interesting what they end up doing but that's a problem they've planned for long before this potential signing so I think it'll still come to fruition.

It woud be pretty comical, and Vegas has done crazier things...

I think the likelihood is probably low, and I certainly wouldn't put too much stock in the Elvenes end of things, but it would certainly be another notable move for them. What a friggin' lineup that'd be when healthy
