A leafs good Idea

Created by: CaillenDraftKings
Team: 2021-22 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 12, 2022
Published: Jan. 12, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
My Plan for the year following will then to Resign: Mikeheyev, Kase, Campbell, Pitlick, Sandin, Liljegren, Spezza. Then Trade Mitch Marner for a good right winger and a good right defenceman and some picks.

Then o want Sandin who has been playing amazing to step in on the second pair with the right d we traded Marner for and have POJ and liljegren as a pair so they can both develop. Then sign a defenceman to be scratched in case POJ or Liljegren go through a slump. Trade Mrazek if he continues to play the way he does in early next season and have Woll and a FA as the backups.

I’m sorry, but you’ll need to add more to the Ritchie and Joseph deals. Why is Pitlick on waivers?

Honestly IDK why he is on waivers but every team should claim him immediately.

Pitlick doesn’t have grit. He’s a good player, but he doesn’t really play defense and gets outmuscled a lot. I like the guy, but he does not play with a physical edge

I wouldn't mind Pitlick as a 13th forward, but his shooting % is something like 46% this season. I really don't think that'll continue the rest of the year.

They likely are waiving him as a favour to give him a chance to catch on elsewhere. It's not like Minny is light on left shooting wing options.

I really like Pitlick, but so do a lot of other people much higher on the priority list. I think Pitlick is a coyote or a senator by the end of the day

Pens say absolutely not. They have zero need for Holl. Given the Pens' current situation, while POJ has no room to get in, unless they decide to keep him as a depth player, if they do move him it will be for a major need and Holl is not a major need.

Pitlick has no grit, he's an offense-only type of player that isn't good enough to play in the top six.

No one is trading for Holl.
