Description

Practice Notes: Both Harkins and DeMelo are out of Covid-19 Protocol. Chisholm is listed on the 1st pair with Morrissey, and Samberg is on the 3rd pair with Schmidt. Harkins is in DET, and will most likely play on the 4th line tomorrow. Perfetti will be starting on the wing with Connor and Dubois. DeMelo will be a game-time decision. He will be traveling to DET. The jets are trying to find ice for him today. If he is in I would expect him to be on the top pair with Morrissey.

Can't wait to see Chisholm! Adds another RD to the team and he's putting a half point pace in the AHL.

Like the fact that Perfetti is on the PP unit. Also Samberg should get some penalty killing minutes.

small thing but I would think that Suess will play C as he has done that for a few games now

Are we sure about that, pretty sure he's just practicing in that slot and DeMelo will be playing tomorrow against Detroit if it isn't postponed.

Kinda strange that Chisholm isn't listed with the Jets or shown as a callup transaction.

Anyway I'm a Chisholm fan, he's looked really good with the Moose but the Jets have a glut of dmen now so idk if he'll ever get a chance.

They said that DeMelo is a GTD. The Jets need to figure out which Dmen they are going to use and which ones they can trade for needs. I think that they should trade Samberg and Stanley. Unless they get rid of Dillon then I don't see a fit for Samberg in the jets lineup with Heinola coming. Stanley is just terrible and I think that other teams value him quite high and we could get a great return for him.

So trade the two young bigger dmen they have and keep the runts?? Sorry I don't agree, can't have too many small dmen and the Jets already have plenty enough little puck movers who struggle to defend.

I think at this point definitely trade Stanley. Play both Samberg and Chisholm for a couple of games and trade whoever does worse. I don't know much about those two, let me know which one should be dealt.

Thats a good option, just depends where we are at during the TDL.
