I’m sure Edmonton would give you more for Varly than Columbus would, can’t see Columbus giving up assets to get a rental goalie…

Only reason I traded him to Columbus is because their losing Korosalo at the end of the year (I know I butchered the name lmao)

Right but we would rather sign a backup instead of moving a high pick.

Alright, if your saying that they won’t accept those deals, what do you believe they will take?

Dobson i believe would take 3.5-4, but for 3 years not 5. Hes been great this year and 3.5 is bridge money for him.
Same for wahlstrom although hes going to be a year later, if you want to sign him for 6 years (obviously i dont know how he will play next season) but assuming he does play top 6 next year i think a 6 year deal will cost around 5.5 per not 3.5.
As for barzal i think he will end up with a ln 8 year 10 million per deal irl. He doesnt have the point production to be worth that but in any other system i think you wouldve seen him get 11+ per on an 8 year deal. Also someone will pay 8 figures for him for sure. Therefore i think 8 years 80 million is the right number.
Going back to dobson if you wanted to sign him for 5 years (which is a very odd number i would think its either 3 or less, or 6 or more but a middle deal imo would be 5-6 years at 5-5.5 each.
