Boston just doesn’t have prospects that excite me outside of Lysell. Maybe Studnicka. If we aren’t getting good prospects we need to be getting a first round pick plus for each of Pavs and Klinger

I’d be down to trade Pavs for Debrusk and a 1st, not this package for both though.

And the stars don’t have anything on their roster that would warrant moving a prospect like lysell.

If klingberg were a LD, this might make a smidge of sense. He isn’t, so it doesn’t.

That package might get you Klingberg with retention….maybe.

Neither team does this.

You wouldn’t move Lysell for Heiskanen? Hintz? Robertson? Obviously not for Pavs or Klinger rentals. That isn’t what I said 🤔👆

Okay, cmon. Let’s keep it in terms of realism. None of those players are being moved. You knew what I meant.

This is real unrealistic.
Pavs is in full control of where he gest traded to, on top of that, if you want him to come back you don't want to sour that.
He's 37 never won a cup. He's gonna pick where he goes and the return probably isn't going to be what you think, because A. he's a rental and B. the number of teams he'd actually play for that can fit him in is not that great.
I don't think BOS is a fit because I don't see him wanting to join a team with 1 center. He's got to be looking at his best chance to actually win a cup, and BOS isn't it.
But that is also why the return isn't going to be the 1st you expect. My guess is the return is little.

I’ve seen multiple sources say he’s worth a first rounder and then some. That doesn’t mean it’s a sure thing, but shouldn’t be far off. I also don’t see the Bruins as a fit, but just because Hall insisted on Boston that doesn’t mean every other guy in the league will do that

Does Klingberg play left? I'm not really interested if he doesn't

He's not going to get a first.
First off, he gets to choose where he goes. Period. That ends the 1st right there.
The teams he's willing to go to are probably under 6 to being with. Of those there might be 2 that can fit him under the cap and that's with cap coming back or out another direction.
DAL is gonna let him go play for a cup, they aren't getting in the way. He's 37, he gave DAL 3 good years, that's the least they can do, especially if they have any hope of him resigning.
They aren't chasing assets and no one else is going to cough anything close to that up knowing the situation.
