Barabanov is another Leaf reject who the coach preferred Vesey over 🤢

nope.
Reimer has been Elite this year save for him trying to play through an injury in his last 4 games waiting for Hill to come back from covid (look at his numbers before christmas and after) he should be back in 2 weeks and is already skating but they want to be cautious.
Barabanov is making 1 mil and has 20 points in 32 games.
both of these guys are big pieces of the sharks success this year and your offering a cap dump an AHL goalie, a low grade prospect and a bottom forward and a 3rd.
for Reimer and barabanov and for us taking back a cap dump in Zucker we need a 1st and a decent prospect.

I would not trade either of those pieces by themselves for that pile of crap if i’m SJ.

Zucker is a cap dump, the other 3 pieces are of mimimal value

he is on pace for 45 points this season playing top 6 min and looks like a steal. must frustrate the hell out of TOR fans to see how good he’s been with the sharks!

Barabanov, Erod, McCann, Weegar/Tanev & Raanta are all impact players the Leafs passed down to keep the equally expensive & incompetent Vesey, Ritchie, Holl and Mrazek. Talk about an incompetent coach.

sounds more like and incompetent GM, unless the coach has final say on who he wants!

with Barabanov a FA with a minuscule track record we won’t get much more than a 3rd, maybe a 2nd for him
Reimer can get us a 1st but not a first and a B grade prospect, it all depends though on how desperate teams get for help towards the deadline.

Yeah, the GM makes moves based on what the coach wants.
