Notes: This morning Stastny was added to the Covid list. Dillon and Comrie are now in Covid protocol as well. Samberg and Chisholm will make their NHL debuts tonight. Samberg practiced on the 2nd pair with fellow UMD Bulldog Neal Pionk, and Chisholm will be with Schmidt on the 3rd pair. Chisholm who just turned 22 yesterday said "It's the best present ever!". The three that were added to the taxi squad this morning (Mallot, Berdin, Poganski) are on their way to Detroit. Poganski will dress tonight in his Jets debut, and Berdin will dress as the backup. Harkins is back in the lineup coming out of Covid protocol. After isolating for 5 days in Denver he flew to Detroit and skated with Ryan Kesler yesterday. DeMelo is also back in the lineup playing with Morrissey on the top pair. HC Dave Lowry said that the lineup will be "fluid". He says he might start Perfetti with Connor and Dubois, however Svechnikov could slid back onto that line. Coach Dave Lowry also gave some unfortunate news on Gus's injury, he said that he is "a ways away from playing".
