I actually don't dislike the Sharks as much as other Ducks fans. I don't like them or anything, but off the top of my head I can't think of a particular player I really dislike.

Predatory player. I wouldn't consider him a dirty player but predatory and I'm a Ducks fan, what do you expect? He's not a bad person off the ice like some of the other players here. But I dislike him for his hit on Kariya, that's as simple as it gets. The fact that he never apologized makes me dislike him a bit more. He didn't end Kariya's career as others say (I would personally say Gary Sutter is responsible for that), but I still dislike him for it. I forgot to add Sutter to the line-up and thinking about it, I dislike Keith more than I dislike Stevens.

OK, I get that. I was thinking it was more personality/character driven.

As a Devils fan, I am recommending him for sainthood. But I can see that as Ducks fan.

That’s a list of guys I mostly like! Honestly why dislike Toews? I don’t get that.

Game 7 didn't make me dislike him. But it definitely didn't make me like him eithertears of joy

But yes, it's because of the Kyle Beach situation.

Who else do you like on here @Grapevine?

I like them all accept Matt Cooke, both Lemieux’s, both Kane’s, and Suter

What's your definition of predatory? Because if Stevens is considered predatory, then I think Ovi would have to be considered predatory as well. He loves looking for that big hit too.

Personally for me, only a few of these guys would be on my list of people I dislike most.

My explanations for the others:
Smith - diver
Quick - sore loser (seems like it to me), temperament, overall behavior over the years, Kings player (not a reason but definitely doesn't help either)
Doughty - one of the most punchable faces in the league, crybaby, annoying, said something like "Kaprizov's overpaid this summer" (has a $11M cap hit himself), Kings player as well
Subban - slew footing
Deangelo - being Tony Deangelo
Keith - Kyle Beach incident
Stevens - explained above
Reaves - he's Ryan Reaves, that usually explains things
Tkachuk - disliked by most non-Calgary fans, annoying, he's a Tkachuk (that alone should explain what I dislike)
Brown - rivalry reasons, etc., another Kings player
Toews - Beach incident
Marchand- not a bad person off the ice and hasn't been as much of a piece of ****, but everything he's done in the past makes me dislike him
Kadri- rather obvious reasons
Wilson - I hate him with every cell of my body

In Steven's case: someone who plays always plays in a gray area and crosses the line sometimes. Takes every chance to deliver a big hit and takes advantage of players looking down for a short amount of time with a hit. Not a goon, not really a dirty player.

We just might have to agree to disagree on this one. Maybe because I as a defenseman would always make a statement when I could on the ice (as long as it wasn't dirty). In a game where momentum can change the game in one's favor and you can strike fear and intimidation into your opponents, I think it's fine.

When I think predatory I associate it with people like Wilson who look for the dirty play.

I just draw a line between predatory and dirty. In my head those are different. But yes, agree to disagree.
