dont think habs have interest in those pieces, and other than picks not too much we are interested in

Wideman as like 9 points in 22ish games
Might be worth a 5th RD pick

Thats fair at this point i think its more important that he get moved for something, along with several other players on the habs, than to worry about about the trivial difference between a 4th and a 5th round pick.

Canucks aren't moving Hamonic and a 3rd for Lehkonen, nor are they moving Halak and Poolman for Koskinen. Poolman isn't a negative asset they way Koskinen is so Edmonton would have to add at least a 3rd round pick to convince Vancouver to take on Kosky

Poolman has 3 years left after this one, koskinen is a UFA after this one. That’s a huge benefit for Van as the need to upgrade their D-Corp next year.

Lehkonen is a good 3rd line checker. Basically replaces dickinson’s spot in the lineup allowing dicky to move to 4th C

I’d do it for Van. I would pay a bit more maybe to send Hamonic back the other way, too

Dickinson is staying on the wing where he's fit in better and he's not moving down to the 4th line. Not saying I don't like Lehkonen

They certainly need to upgrade their D-group, but that doesn't necessarily mean needing to move Poolman because he's already a good 3rd pairing defender and he should be able to contribute as such over the life of his contract. While the Canucks are still in the playoff hunt, I just don't see them taking on Koskinen for the Oilers
