You are completely ignorant if you dont think Pelletier is one of the top prospects in the league by now.

Well I’m not alone….corey pronman ranked him as the 99th best NHL affiliated player under the age of 23. Behind some very average names, including many prospects of same age or younger….So I’m not alone….

Lol, as I clearly specified in my response because I figured you would say that, there are many *prospects* ahead of him that are of same age or younger. There’s about 30-40 *PROSPECTS* who have never played in the NHL who are ranked above him

And that list is based almost entirely off of draft potential. Like it has Coronato ahead of him yet Pelletier is the 2nd best player in the AHL as a rookie

What lol, not it’s not... Read his intro. It’s based on who he would pick on his team now for the rest of their career, not for a game tomorrow.

Pelletier is a good prospect , I’m not saying he’s terrible. But he’s not a stud, blue chip, can’t miss prospect. Sorry, he’s just not.

Lol ok man, a few months ago I would agree with you but he is almost guaranteed a top 6 player now

Lol that article was from Wednesday, not 6 months ago. And “top 6 prospect” does not equal “one of the best prospects in the league”

You’re opinion is wrong here. He’s not a top prospect

My opinion is wrong here because 1 person has him ranked well below what he is proving at the AHL level?

You are right though "almost guaranteed top 6 player" =/= "one of the best prospects in the league." Thats because they are unrelated measurements. One is based on potential, the other is on how NHL ready they are. For example Quinton Byfield is rank 21 on that list yet has struggled at the AHL level (in comparison to Pelletier at least).

That list is not an gospel lol. Like it has Jokiharju listed at rank 121 yet he is literally currently a 1st pair defenseman in the NHL.

My opinion is not wrong, you are jusy too ignorant to form your own

I’m too ignorant to form my own….? No I have my opinion. Pronman seeems to agree. Wtv dude . You keep bending your thoughts into a pretzel to try to make your point. Pelletier is a good prospect but he’s not one of the best in the league. He’s just not. Accept that and move on. No other team is dying to get their hands on him….

Im basing my opinion strictly on facts though. Pelletier is dominating in the AHL, that isn't hard to see. Seth Jarvis was one of the best prospects last year when he put up very similar numbers in the AHL, and he is also ranked 18th on that list. He is now clearly succeeding in the NHL with 15 points in 25 games.
