eh. 19 year old QMJHL players tend to take steps forward. and im an isles fan but considering the fact that Lou wont let him play til 2025/26, its worth trading him while we r in our window

Rielly smith will be 31 and looking for a long term deal, would you like another palmieri/ladd on the team? You do know there's players under the age of 27 in this league.

From a value standpoint, it's a solid deal for the Pens, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, the Pens have zero cap space, but if they had it I don't see how they say no.

Makes no sense for the Oilers to trade a young middle six NHL forward for a prospect, end even less sense for them to include a draft pick in the deal.

Giving up the best player AND the best pick. And the Oilers pushing to contend right now... this doesn't add up at all.

people are overreacting but the islanders are so bad, no reason to give up assets for a rental at this point in time, especially a winger. i’d be interested in mcnabb if they could snag him for a late pick maybe or if the knights wanted to move hague but there’s no need for smith

The value might be right for the NYI trade but the fit is terrible. The isles arent making the playoffs this year so why trade for a rental??????
