what I would do

Created by: Wadejos123
Team: 2021-22 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 14, 2022
Published: Jan. 14, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I don't see flower as someone who wants to uproot his family or be away from them for months for another cup run. As hopeful as most hawks fans are that he can be flipped for a 1st, I just don't see it happening. The trades below are what I would do at the deadline
Trades
1.
FLA
  1. Strome, Dylan
Additional Details:
Strome played his best hockey under coach Q, and Q is the one that gave him a chance in the first place. Maybe Q tries to bring him in to further add to a stacked Florida team
2.
CHI
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
could be any team, but I think the B's look to add a dman at the TDL
BOS
  1. De Haan, Calvin ($2,275,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Dehaan has been awesome for the hawks this season but he's likley not back next year and can clear a roster spot to play the kids. I honestly think at half price he's worth more than this but i'll aim low for now
3.
CHI
  1. 2022 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
anywhere
4.
CHI
  1. 2022 1st round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Of the playoff teams Minnesota is one that struggles to score compared to the others. I know they need centers more so not sure if there's interest here
MIN
  1. Kubalik, Dominik
Additional Details:
Just don't see the hawks wanting to pay him this offseason if the plan is to rebuild

Q is no longer with the Panthers. He resigned earlier this season

Minnesota doesn’t struggle to score. Not sure what makes you think that.

Um... Minnesota is 7th in the league in scoring. The hell are you on about.

Even if we were going on this speculation of yours about playoff teams having better scoring then us. We're still in the upper half of playoff teams.

Goals For by Strength leaders this year.

1) Aves
2) Panthers
3) Knights
4) Lightning
5) Blues
6) Capital's
7) Wild

And I think if you look at goals per game average, we trail only Florida and Colorado, so it’s even less accurate when you factor in games played.

He's not worth a 1st.

Minnesota, at 3rd in the league in goals per game, struggles to score, so they trade a 1st round pick for a guy with 13 points on the season. You couldn't have missed harder if you tried.

You mean a 1st in the deepest and best looking draft since 2015? And just like that draft, rival 2003 as a potential best in NHL history type of draft?

Given the Wild's newfound draft and amateur scouting department headed up by Judd Brackett took over two season ago. I'd rather have the 1st, thanks but no thanks.

Also, Minnesota doesn't want or need Wingers, so no
