If you're going to trade him there has to be at least one solid prospect coming back. This deal is full of question marks

There's a 1st rounder, and Studnicka is a solid prospect isn't he? What about JFK?

I know Senyshyn and Wagner don't really have any value, but Debrusk has some value

He's a rental Mr. Benning, not Wayne Gretzky...
No GM will give you 6 assets of anykind for 1 guy not named McDavid.

Studnicka is 22 and hasn't shown anything. Probably has a ceiling as a 3rd liner, more likely to never become a full time nhler. JFK is 25 and putting up poor numbers in the SHL, likely never comes back to North America.

Debrusk has some value as a reclamation project but you don't trade a guy like Miller for a reclamation project unless that's a throw in to the core of a deal.

No GM will give you 6 assets of anykind for 5 months of service at best till UFA.

I’m assuming this trade takes place this year due to the 2022 first round pick which means Boston would get Miller for 1.5 years. People are forgetting he still has another year on his contract. Also there really aren’t any pieces of value so it doesn’t make sense for either sides

He isn't a rental. He has another year on his deal. Also there's nothing of significant value in those 6 pieces.

A bunch of scraps and a late 1st isn’t nearly enough. For Boston it would have to involve Lysell + a 1st or Carlo

Some scraps sure...(ZS, CW, JFK)
a) Deep draft and BOS is likely a mid-round team thus let's call it between 10-15th place pick in 1st (big time value)
b) DeBrusk, needs a new home he has decent stats: JD: 272Gms/72G & 16 Playoff Goals ((one a series winner (TML) & one a GWG & the most playoff goals of any player drafted in 2015 - the McJesus draft))
c) Stud - unknown, projected as the soild-two-way-guy (Bergy/O'Reilly maybe) he's stuck behind B's centre depth at present.

If you're going to trade Miller, you should get something good for him. A 1st and a bunch of questionable prospects or mediocre player isn't good. I'd want Carlo + draft picks from Boston for Miller.

Said it before - w/ VAN & Miller:Carlo at 1:1 is a non-starter.
D wins championships [period].
Moreover, all his metrics (icetime, usage (esp. PK), age, contract/term & wears an "A" on a team stacked w/ leaders) - make him a keeper,

Then I guess there's no deal to be made. Trading Miller and not getting a young, top pair RHD back is a non-starter for the Canucks. Honestly, I'd rather keep Miller and resign him in a couple years.

Well said, Van-Bos is not the trade for Miller-Carlo.
BOS current need sequence is 1) a #1-2LD & 2) a #2C.
I like Miller, but BOS doesn't move Carlo for his services. If JT was a yr/two younger & had another yr/two term then the discussion likely goes alot further...

I'm curious since you seem to know enough about the situation. Based on what, is Studnicka "more likely to never become a full time nhler"?

JFK, Senyshyn, and Wagner aren’t assets. As a bruins fan who really really likes studnicka, i think this is okay.

Overestimate? But mostly I see an underestimation given his stats, contract and versatility. These players are worth at least 1st + a very good prospect or comparable player for the position Canucks want. I don't see anything interesting in your trade other than 1st and it certainly doesn't move the needle.
