the value in ticket sales alone prevents this from ever happening.
He leaves.....team is done.

Neither team does it. Sid will retire a Penguin, the Avs won't give up that much.

Such an easy no fro COL. I mean come on trading the leagues #4 scorer, 2 top 4 dmen both under 24, a former 1st and a 2nd for a guy well into his 30’s. Makes the defense significantly weaker while maybe, maybe making the 2nd line better. Awful trade for COL.

An Avs trade for Crosby is something like this:
1st round pick
Newhook
Barron
Girard
Kaut

Doubling down in how ignorant you are to this situation, do everyone a favor and don’t speak about a players issues and personal life/health that you have no idea about

You are not a doctor or in his inner circle, si stop trying to be an expert about his health and just shut up and don’t speculate bc you read things on Twitter about him

As for the trade itself, both teams decline. We don't need Crosby due to Kadri being a stud rn. And I think we all want to see Crosby retire as a Penguin, and that will most likely be the case.

Wow; you'd make a great GM. Seriously, you really know how to read things. Canadiens or Canucks should definitely hire you.

Nobody is trading for a Bryam right now he might retire. He considered retirement in the off-season then got another concussion this year and has post concussion syndrome

Care to share your source where you got the idea that he considered retirement? He worried that he wasn't going to be able to play again but that's not the same as "considering retirement." There are plenty of players who get concussions and have recurrent post-concussion syndrome who go on to successful careers. In fact, the centerpiece of this trade, Crosby, had pretty severe post-concussion issues. Now, it very well may be that he never fully recovers and can't play again but, for now, he's taking some time to get himself healthy but we're a long way from saying he'll never play again.
