Tolvanen is on a team friendly contract and has identical numbers to Laine this season, with significantly less ice time. It's not exactly a great proposal for NSH.

I'd personally put Granlund with Laine. Having a Sniper-Sniper-Sniper isn't going to help. Duchene leads the team in goals and Kunin has 3 goals in his last 3 games.

I’d say make it two firsts, then sure.

Need to remember - Laine is an RFA after this year so, at a minimum, you are getting him for 1.5 years.

Makes sense. I don't watch Nashville enough to know the lines. Thanks for the input!

At the same time though, I don’t think that:
A. Columbus trades him
B. Preds are in on/trade Tolvanen for him

Not saying I’d do it but laine has only played 16 games to get those 13 points. Tolvanen has played 39 games.

Yeah, that's embarrassing. Not sure what I misread when I was looking up their stats. I somehow thought Laine had played 36 games this year (I need to get my eyes checked). I still don't think NSH should go for Laine. I don't think he'd be a good fit for Hynes' system, and don't want to part with the futures he'd cost, but I have to retract that line of argument.

Good catch, @GeauxPreds1!

Agreed, all told. But these are ACGM’s, so we deal with the fantasy trades we are given.
