Nah we're good. Kempe is on track for 38 goals on a Kings team starving for goals, and Roy has been a staple for the team defensively with Walker and Edler out for the season. Kings are in a playoff spot, not sure our teams can help each other like we were during the rebuild.

Muzzin has a full NTC and he's not waiving it for LA, And Klingberg gets a better return then this.

He just signed a new 4 year deal about a couple of seasons ago, can't see him waiving it now. But stranger things have happened.

Honestly, I believe Roy is better defensively than Muzzin and Kempe is $2M RFA goal-scoring machine. Muzzin is awesome and probably better overall than Roy, but he is declining, we know him and Doughty don't make a great pair, and his contract takes him to his mid-30s. I don't see it working, but I'll be rooting for him in Toronto during the playoffs.

With his 17th goal tonight, Kempe leads the Kings in goal-scoring. We won't be trading him.

Roy has been our steadiest defenseman, night after night. We won't be trading him, either.

I don't think we'll even trade our #3 RD, Sean Walker, because I doubt that Brandt Clarke is ready and we need a depth RD behind Sean Durzi (for whom we thank you greatly).

I can definitely see him waiving it in the right circumstance. For a lot of guys the NTC isn't so much about needing to stay exactly where they are, but more so about having the say in where they end up. Now, he's got a family, so that's always a consideration, but he's got history and friends in L.A, knows the city, knows the players, played there a long time and they're looking like a competitive team right now. There're a lot of external factors to consider as well - taxes, weather, lifestyle, covid (a lot of people are really getting fed up with the way things are being handled in Canada and Ontario right now). These guys are human just like us and a lot of things play into a decision like that.

1st Round Pick & Holl is a good start for Klingberg, but instead of the other draft picks, make it a prospect. One of Niemela, Robertson, Amirov, or Knies should be the target for Jim Nill & company

niemela isnt in the same boat as robertson or knies, and neither of them are in the same boat as amirov, the biggest prospect youd get out of the leafs in niemela
