Description

This is just so get some grip on the idea of what Klingberg could look like in Carolina. I get the value might be off

Klingberg will need a 5v5 babysitter because he's hot garbage defensively, so he gets Slavin. TDA isn't much better, so he gets Pesce. That leaves Skjei with Bear

Then you walk. You don't give up a young roster piece and you don't give up unprotected firsts for a rental.

I’d expect a trade for Klingberg will include Bear. He’s been awful since coming back from Covid, and Keane certainly held his own yesterday while Bear got some press box time.

I wouldn’t do Bear + Suzuki, but that’s likely the ask. Maybe Bear + Bokk. I’d have no problem moving on from Bear if it meant upgrading to Klingberg for the playoffs. The + could be the sticking point here.
