I would say that the Marleau contract is comparable to Bob's, but I would be lying if I did. For the others, those are really good comparables, but the outlier is Bobrovsky. Marleau was making 3.75mil less than what Bob is making now. Yes the Sabres have the cap space, but I dont think that they will waste it on a measly return for dumping Bob's terrible contract. For that contract, I would say that the Panthers are looking more at about 2 first round equivalents.

Plus, the Canes are still thanking the Leafs for being so stupid. Thanks for Jarvis, Toronto. This same thing might very well happen to the Panthers.

I don’t think the Sabres would do the Bobrovsky deal
It would take more than one 1st imo, bc he’s got 4 years left after this

The Tage Thompson deal also would be a no go imo

The rest seem pretty reasonable though

What do the Oilers and Sabres have to do with Burakovsy?

I don't think you've noticed, but Sergei Bobrovsky has reclaimed his starting position with Florida. This year he's 19-3-3 with a 2.47 GAA and save percentage of .921, which puts him in the top 8 of starting goalies in the NHL. I don't think that Florida will consider trading him, let alone paying heavily for the pleasure.
