They're not trading RNH.

If the idea is to go into the playoffs with an unproven goalie, Edmonton is better off keeping RNH and seeing what skinner can do as the starter.

There’s unproven and then there’s unproven. Skinner has started out the career with a 3.12 and a .903. Swayman on the other hand? A 1.96 and a .928. Bit of a different story.

Boston is not trading Swayman

Edmonton is not trading RNH.

Swayman is better and has much more upside then Skinner at the same age

But I don’t see why Edmonton should trade RNH so I say both teams decline

I think swayman is better than skinner but not enough to give up RNH.

Boston either counters with a trade that doesn't include Swayman, or they hang up

As much as I’d like to see what RNH can do between Hall and Pastrnak (future first line right there), the thought of losing Swayman scares me. I would venture to guess he takes over the number 1 spot and they deal Ullmark in the middle of the third year of his contract.
