Doesn't make sense for the oilers at all. Why would they want a first for two young promising players???

But why does this make sense as a trade for either team?

1. Alex Formenton is not signing that.

2. You're overpaying for Kailer Yamamoto.

3. Evan Rodrigues is not signing that.

4. We can revisit this trade after the draft lottery.

I see Bourgault but who is the 2nd promising player?

Also, it's a most likely top-10 pick in a great draft at the top AND Mads Sogaard who is a beast in the making

No chance at all the Sens do this even if Dorion is the worst GM out there

That being said, I agree it doesn't make sense for the Oilers as well, Sogaard turned 21 y/o 1 month ago, he's not going to "fix the Oilers" lol

I was referring to Yamamoto and Skinner, Bourgault is probably somewhat expendable

Oh ok this surprises me. I find that Yamamoto and Skinner are nothing special. Yamamoto tops as a Tyler Ennis (not even sure he reaches Ennis peak), Skinner will not be a NHL goalie, back up at most

Of course these are my opinions so you don't have to agree but I have been doing this for decades. No I'm not a pro scout but I have gotten good at this, not wrong very often anymore

Anyway, I wouldn't give up anything of value for them. Bourgault on the other end...

The point of my post was more that Yamamoto and Skinner fit the timeline better over a 2022 first and bourgault, regardless of the value.
