Also this account....named after the Hurricanes, says Carolina is your favourite team but only makes Boston rosters
what sort of shenanigans are going on behind the scenes here

Boston doesn’t have a high end prospect, Lysell maybe.

Lohrei as well. Unless 6ft4 200lb pt a game as freshman in college d man does nothing for you. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Some of their guys are being looked past because of the Boston handles young players. Rather than let them play (Studnicka, Zboril, Urho, Senyshyn, etc). They go out and sign veterans like Nosek, Foligno, Reilly, Forbort and bury the kids which leads to a false narrative that they are underperformers. Zboril before getting hurt and now Urho have played very well. They were forced to use Steen and now they can’t take him out of the lineup, so much that they were forced to put a player on waivers to keep him in the lineup. Studnicka and Senyshyn are playing very well at Providence, no place for them at the NHL level. Had these players been on different teams they would be established NHL players already and their trade value would be much higher than it currently is. That’s a fault of the org.

that's my point, no high-end prospect to give the yotes they don't want your deal

There’s nothing to show that these players would be nhlers on any other team. There are always guys who light up the ahl that don’t pan out in the nhl, maybe these are some of those guys. I don’t think nhl teams will look at these players and think they have any value especially not for a guy like Chychrun where the ask is basically 3 firsts.

Like i said same thing was said of Zboril and Urho, last year and beginning of this year. Called busts. Pressed into service they have played remarkably well. It’s all about opportunity. Every front office sees the players i mentioned as NHL caliber talent to some degree. Fans don’t. Fans that have not seen them in action at all, their opinion of them is pretty much irrelevant.

Chychrun is not getting the kind of return they asking for.

He’ll get a 1st, a prospect and roster player of varying degree. His real value is age, term, contract. But he has fleas. Injury prone, unlikely to ever replicate the 10% he shot last year leading to high goal total, not great defensively.
