Pretty sure there’s a handful of 6 goal games, and Malone may have even seen 7 if I am correct (someone has a 7 goal game tho) as 7 is the record if I recall.

The template for that was

A 1st
Low B prospect (Axel Andersson)
Backes (1.5mill retained)

What Boston got back: Kase who had (7goals and 16 assists) with 1.5yrs left.

In Ritchie's case I dont think retention is required but the question is who should we trade for. My idea was Crouse as he is a similar player and has similar point totals.

The other idea is just to do the simple

Ritchie + 2nd for 7th at the Draft to just dump him


Accept defeat and just buy him out in the offseason. I hate the the idea of having 1.1 mil of dead cap space the following year but I hate losing the draft pick more

Boston turned Backes into Kase. Who if he stayed healthy would have made Anaheim look silly. Toronto could do the same thing with Ritchie but as of now dont know who it would be coming back. Best guess maybe Crouse but could be anyone.

Only player to score 7 goals in a game*

A handful of people have 6, including Newsy Lalonde, Joe Malone again, Sittler, both Dennenys, and maybe 1 or 2 more (I think Sittler was the last though, and I don't think even Lemieux or Gretzky hit 6 in a game).

I swear Meier, on 5 goals, played less than 5 minutes in the third.

What happens if a player gets selected to the All Star game but then gets traded? JT Miller is an option for last man into the all star game and apparently the Rangers and currently all over him right now. That would be pretty awkward for him to go to the all start game while on a different team

Yessir


John Scott being traded was an attempt to keep him out of the ASG. It backfired.

I doubt he gets traded before the ASG; if he is on his way out it'll be soon after.

Malone also has more goals than games in his career. 1.13 G/GP.

They give you offense but man has their PK been inconsistent. I guess Vegas broke them last playoffs


Teows is more important to the DEFENCE than Makar is IMO. He's been injured though.

Oh the bright side is Makar probs being the first Dman since Greene to maybe hit 30 goals this season

Other than that yeah there be issues. Like does he even PK cause every time I see a chart for him its N/A for PK

Malone scored 5 goals in the first ever NHL game when the forward pass wasn’t allowed yet.

Will never understand fan on fan violence. I’ll root for my home team but never will it infuriate me if another fan is over zealous or whatever.

This dude is either a douchebag or has some serious mental issues if you get this upset at a sporting event.

I only came here to do two things,

I've seen way worse at NFL games
They have full on fist fights
But I agree, there's no need for fans to fight at sporting events
Just sit down and have fun watching the game
