He's definitely a top 3 defensive defenseman in the league. He's very good offensively, but the Avs system/ quality of teammates make his offensive numbers elite.

Honestly I was thinking Mrazek as Holland often reminisces of his Detroit Days to the media and Mrazek was drafted by him...

Get the Detroit band back together but in Edmonton lul

Leafs need Mrazek this year, the schedule is about to catch up to them. Going to need a quality netminder, especially with Campbell's recent play starting to drop a bit.

In the offseason, hell ya. Also, too much bad blood between Holland and Petr

Didn’t he fall out with Mrazek in some contract negotiation? And why would the Leafs trade him anyway? Maybe in the summer if they’re sure they can get a new backup, but having 0 NHL calibre goalies signed just sets you up to overpay someone.

He didnt want to give him 4mill apparently

But Mrazek is making 3.8mill now so no worries for Holland anymore smile

Its destiny in the making

But its not gonna happen now...no no no... But at the draft maybe

As Holland seems to not be shy of trying to acquire guys from his old team.

For Toronto's backup its 3 scenarios. First Kallagren who I really want to see play an NHL game as I think he can do it in a backup role. The other is wait and see what Ottawa does with Murray. Or just look at FA and see what backups are available. Despite the record dont know why im leaning towards Halak

He's top 3 defensively in the league but he's also at a higher point per game than even Makar, he's very good with the breakout passes and plays that lead to goals.
