Can move Colin Miller off the TDL board

I mean he should be back a couple weeks before the TDL. And even if he was injured past that, it wouldn't be a horrible pickup for a cash strapped team to give up a mid-round pick, ride their current roster to the playoffs, and then activate Miller from IR as the playoffs start to be your 3RD or 7D.

Leafs thought the same with Foligno, that didn’t turn out too well. I guess if a GM wants a player coming off surgery, buyer be-where.

Honestly though, this is the game that will settle the score of the year for me. I'm going to watch this game, and if we once again suck tonight I'm probably going to cancel my subscription to the service I use to watch these games.

I’m actually glad that Stars games aren’t broadcast here, maybe if they play either Toronto or Montreal it’ll show up on TV, but if not they’re never there. Sportsnet is Leafs central and TSN is Habs central.

Tbh I wouldn’t want to pay to watch this poverty franchise too.

I would pay when they play good. I would pay when they play bad if they're having a bad team. I like the team that much.

But I wouldn't pay if they suck ass with a good team. That is incredibly frustrating to watch.

Does Severson to the leafs make sense? How much does it cost?

I'd say the Muzzin trade is the closest comparable by far and that it'd take a first (or top prospect) and 2 decent prospects (or mid round picks).

I think Muzzin is significantly better than Severson honestly. Montour trade is probably closer

Severson was linked to us for a while but idk the fit is there. I like the offense side to his game but the defensive woes concern me a bit. If it was up to me I would want someone who can play more defense to be with Muzzin. Someone who can help out Muzzin especially in his current state. A Demelo type of guy so to speak

I mean more in style. Muzzin's good defensively, 40pt guy, LHD, Montour/Severson are 35pt RHD, more offensive than defensive (although Montour was younger too). All at the time of the trade ofc. Should be like 1st+Hirvonen tops for Severson, maybe with Holl for cap reasons and then the Devils can flip him
