What the hell is this?

Copp deal sure, the Boston deal is terrible for the Jets, JoMo is finally returning into his old #2 form amd Schmidt has already increased his value from what it was in the Vancouver trade.

This is suckage on a grand scale for Winnipeg.
Not one of these trades is good for the Jets.

The only trade that works value wise is the Copp trade. The rest isn't close in value or needs for the Jets.

If we're trading Scheifele to Boston I'd want one of their top prospects with a 1st.

The order of traded imo based on how much I like them
1. Copp trade. He may not re sign and getting some good value for him rn would be nice. But I’d like to keep him at this point.
2. Schmidt trade. I don’t want to trade Schmidt because he plays the right side and we lack that depth. And he’s played well. Good defenceman who move the puck don’t grow on trees. And yeah his cap hit could be lower, but you gotta have someone play those mins.
3. Scheifele. DeBrusk is a guy who is looking to be moved, so I don’t think his value is high. 55 is worth more than what’s offered there. It would be insane to trade such an important player. He is still a great player, despite his defensive flaws.
4. JMo. That trade makes no sense. Mattaa is terrible in comparison. Value is bad. JMo is locked up long term and is playing well right now.
All said, Jets should see what they’ve got until the trade deadline (at least) and potentially make a run for it. Don’t know what they could bring in because of cap, but I’m sure the cap experts for the Jets will make something happen.
