Romanov at 2.7M/yr is a little high to me.

I know we’re in a rebuild but Toffoli, AND Hoffman, AND Allen AND Lehkonen…

I wouldn’t trade any of them, but instead try to unload some bad contracts (Armia, Byron, Drouin, Petry, Dvorak).

You're not getting rid of Dvorak a season after paying that price for him, also would be good to have around if they end up getting Wright or Bedard in the next two drafts. Instantly becomes a very good third line center that insulates Suzuki and Bedard/Wright. The rest, eh who cares at this point, just maximize the return as much as possible

Toffoli could get a major return and we can retain on his salary to have more. For me he need to quit.

Erm, Hoffman is a bad contract.

You think it’s realistic that a snake bitten Tyler Toffoli returns to his original draft team that didn’t even look into resigning him during the free agency for an unprotected 1st rounder, Pinelli (a second round pick that the team traded to move up in the draft for just last year) and a 5th for a player who is currently on the same scoring pace as Brendan Lemieux? Yeah, I disagree.

No, we're not interested in taking Tyler Toffoli back, and we're not interested in trading our 2022 first-round pick unless it's in a deal for a high-quality LD.

I do not get why every single MTL fan on this planet believes that the NYR need Lehkonen. WHERE WOULD HE PLAY? Yes he is a good solid defensive forward, but we already have those (Rooney, Goodrow, Hunt, etc...). Also while I do like Artturi (as a fellow Finn) he is not worth a 2nd round pic, maybe a 4th + 6th or 7th

Wouldn’t take Hoffman for free. He’s very one dimensional and doesn’t fit in what Hynes would be looking for

He's actually been pretty good this year. Look at his advanced stats.
