Can't imagine Ottawa is overly interested in DeBrusk. Brady, Forms, maybe Kuzmenko (and Timmy?) all on the left side already. I guess the 4th isn't bad as well but I'd much rather get the 2nd/3rd for Paul and the (hopefully) 4th if Ottawa can recoup the pick they paid for Brown two years ago.

Patrick trade I dont hate. Late 2nd for a flier on a prev 2nd overall pick. Injury history is alarming and obviously not a lot of production the last couple years but I'd roll the dice.



Tierney may yield a 3rd or even a 2nd at 50% retained. Sanford was basically already valued at a 3rd or a 4th+ with the St Louis trade this year. On top of that Ottawa's throwing in another 3rd. That's heaps more than just a late 2nd.

Don't see why the Rangers do that too. It's like giving up Kravstov for a 3rd, a 4th and a 5th. I wouldn't be happy if Dorion was trading Brannstrom like that, for example. Rangers should look for one single piece of better quality. Unless they'd need Tierney and Sanford for playoffs depth?




lol I'd be shocked if a NHL team wouldn't rather have Paul than DeBrusk at this point, particularly when you take salaries/AAVs in consideration.
