Boston does not want either of those players.

The last thing they need is an offense first no defense at all D man.

They just lost Kuhlman on waivers because they have no room for him, what do they need Carpenter for. Be the same result.

I don't think TOR is going to give up their 1st round pick. Hear that Jeff Marek was discussing that TOR didn't believe they needed to add anywhere specific. Unless they got a Hertl type player...they felt as if a DeHaan type player came in and played on the bottom pair...that isn't going dramatically affect the outcome of a serious. I tend to agree with that. Maybe if the Hawks took on Mrazek and Ritchie...freeing them up from that offseason cap while sending back MAF...ok, but I'm not sure this helps TOR.

Leafs can make this work, and very easily if they include a 3rd team to retain, without needing to move Ritchie. No reason for them to give a 1st from a deep draft for De Haan.

Not even close for the leafs, dehaan isnt worth a 2nd and you arnt getting a premium to take a guy the leafs can buy out with a 300k cap hit next year
