With these moves the Oilers roster is much improved and should make the postseason without difficulty, making the 1st rounder about 20th overall.

There's no incentive for Ottawa to make this deal, and take on more salary. JBrown is the coach's choice to be on this team, and he is playing well with Brannstrom right now, and this Russian D is irrelevant. There has to be an incentive of some sort. Ottawa is out of the playoff picture, and White is getting closer and closer to returning.

Trade for Holl from Toronto

Theyre not moving the 1st just to dump the last 4 months of koskinen. He either gets included in a deal to make money work, or they bury him.

Or nothing happens and they keep him on the roster.
