No thanks from the Pens, but I don't think you guys should sell. I think you make the playoffs.

Definitely not too much for either player

I think you have a real shot of duking it out. I think you can catch SJ, but obviously you need CGY to slide a bit, but it's possible.

If NSH become buyers, they would be looking for a top 6 winger or bottom 6 center — they pass on Motte.

For that package for Miller, Canes would need retention, and that would get retention plus some. Canes aren’t giving up Bear or Fast to begin with, Bokk is available, and I don’t think the Canes are trading away their first unless it’s for someone who will fill their 2LW hole. Miller is better at C than LW, and Canes don’t need any more C. Canes pass.

Mmm, thank you, I appreciate the encouragement from a Pens fan. We Canucks fans are really excited about where Rutherford is going to steer the ship moving forward. Patrik Allvin has been a potential candidate in a lot of rumors pertaining to the Canucks GM search, obviously he's worked with Rutherford and there is a an established relationship there

Yeah, if you guys miss this year I really don't think it will be by much and it will be on an upward trend. You guys have some ridiculous talent and clearly just had bad people steering the ship.

Yeah, I feel very confident in the team and management group going forward. Obviously Vancouver's roster situation is very different from what Rutherford was working with in Pittsburgh, but I think he probably just needed a change of scenery, I'm very encouraged by his messaging so far

If you guys can somehow find a way out of that OEL situation you can really have room to play.

His contract can be bought out a couple years down the road, and he's been very good this season

The Jets aren't going to want to swap defenceman given all the uncertainty with Hanafin this year, especially because their cap hits are identical. Also DeMelo looks to be on the top pairing since the coaching switch

There's no incentive for Winnipeg to downgrade Demelo to a 7/8 defenseman.

This is worse than the other Marino for Boeser trades lol. We aren’t taking on your cap dump and trading you Marino in the process. How about Boeser and Poolman for Kapanen and Matheson or Zucker? Yeah I didn’t think so lol

That's a brutal counter offer. Boeser is more valuable than Kapanen, and if you think otherwise, then that's just another way of saying you're a Pens homer. Clearly you don't realize that Myers isn't a cap dump for Vancouver, because he's playing very well under Boudreau. Heck, Poolman isn't a cap dump either because he's been solid as well. If you don't like the idea of Boeser for Marino, that's fine

I never said Boeser wasn’t more valuable than Kapanen. What I said is they aren’t trading Marino for Boeser because Marino is more valuable to the pens than Boeser. The reason the counter offer was brutal was to make fun of the brutal initial offer. But ok let’s use your logic. If Myers isn’t a cap dump cause he is playing well under Boudreau (which is a whole what? Like 10-12 games?) then certainly Matheson isn’t since he is playing well under Sullivan which is a bigger sample size and the nucks should accept my counter offer. 🤷‍♂️

Okay, and I never said Matheson was a cap dump. Between him and Myers, I'd say simply that neither player has particularly high trade value, they just aren't cap dumps. Myers was good in his 1st season with Vancouver, he was only bad in last years shortened covid season. He was actually playing fairly well under Green to start this season, but has found another gear since the coaching change
