I hope he is. I think he'd be a good GM. I'd have been happy with him or Briere. Not feeling Hughes to be honest.

So new twist in the Darche plot. According to LeBrun the Ducks have not reached out to Tampa to ask their permission to speak with Darche.

It’s 11:45 PM and I just looked and saw Mathieu Darche on the Tampa hockey operations website.

Whoever is picked, I know Gorton is focused on player development. He was out in BC looking at a player.

What is killing the Habs is the very poor drafting between 2012 & 2017. In the last 4 years better players were selected. I would move the older parts, get young prospects, draft well in Montreal and go from there.

I like Darche, could be a great GM hopefully for us. Who knows what is going on on the Tampa site, it may have just been a mistake lol.

It’s Kent Hughes.

The emotional people will scream for Patrick Roy. I’ve known Patty since 1986 and I think the Habs made the right choice with Hughes.
