EDM and BOS both decline. The FLA trade is good value imo just the wrong team.

As stated above, the Florida deal is pretty solid value (I think Smilanic might tilt the scales a little bit too much toward Dallas, but not a ton), but not the right team.

The Boston trade doesn't make much sense for Dallas or Boston. Doubt Boston is willing to move their young goalie of the future & with Oettinger in Dallas, there's really not much of a need for Swayman there either. Would much rather see Pavelski get dealt for a 1st & some kind of prospect

The Edmonton deal is just too heavily favored in Dallas' direction. I think Holtby has really increased his value this season, but he's still only worth a 3rd, MAYBE a 2nd depending on how desperate the team receiving him is. Don't see Dallas getting a good prospect & a young roster player for him.

Drop Swayman and make the second a first. I like the idea of getting Nuti. He might get a few games in this year and we would have a head start on signing him. Holtby is prolly worth a third rounder
