Why would SJS who isnt making the playoffs and already has committed an astonishing 19.5m to RD1 and 2 want risto. No offense but thats probably the last team that would be interested.

Monahan seems to be underperforming for his current production. Flyers need prospects and picks for giroux.

I think the Flames should even be willing to add to that deal. Zary is a good prospect and projects to be a really solid NHL'er, getting rid of Monahan's 6.375 in a year where Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Mangiapane need contracts is borderline an asset in itself. I'd add that Florida 2nd rounder to that deal and still be happy with it.
